The Art Studio<\/strong> “Federico Iaccarino<\/strong>” is located in Meta di Sorrento, in the core of Sorrentino Peninsula, surrounded by the flavors, the tastes and the colors of this amazing land.
The artist Federico Iaccarino<\/strong>, who contributes with his skilled hands at the birth of a new era for Neapolitan sculpture, has been always inspired by passion for the research and desire to discover the ancient techniques of Neapolitan sculpture, as well as chiaroscuro of Caravaggesque\u2019s works and the balance of the great masters of the past.<\/p>\n

The typical sculpting that makes each work unique, the articulated realism of the wooden extremities, the particular coloring of the glass eyes, the peeling that characterizes hair and animals, the astonishing glazes of oil colors, the variety of fabrics used, the ability to amalgamate multiple materials on the same work and the patinas that preserve the works over time like a fine film, are just some of the flavors of ancient art that the “Federico Iaccarino” Art Studio manages to transmit its creations.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n \n The artist, Federico Iaccarino <\/span>\n\n \n \n <\/span>\n <\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The artist Federico Iaccarino<\/strong> was born in Piano di Sorrento<\/strong> in the heart of the Sorrento Peninsula<\/strong>. From an early age, the passion for crib art and art in general grew with him. After completing his studies, Federico<\/strong> chose to cultivate his artistic nature and opened a small art workshop in Meta di Sorrento<\/strong>. It was there that tourists and locals began to know and appreciate his sculptures. Neapolitan cribs in the 18th century style, but also figures made according to the ancient techniques of Neapolitan sculpture<\/strong>, passing from terracotta to wood and from the classic toweling mannequin to papier-m\u00e2ch\u00e9. The attention to detail, the intense initial study of the typical techniques of Neapolitan sculpture<\/strong> and the strong sensitivity to shapes and colors led Federico to quickly become one of the most famous interpreters of the sculptural art of this historical period. In 2017 Federico’s creative talent was added to that of his bride, Chiara<\/strong>. She is a skilled and fine painter who takes care of the painting of the works, in full synergy with the sculptural features of the master Iaccarino.<\/p>\n

The artistic works of the master Federico Iaccarino<\/strong> are present in Rome<\/strong>, Venice<\/strong>, New York<\/strong>, Hamburg<\/strong>, Madrid<\/strong>, Barcelona<\/strong>. Since 2016, it is also possible to admire his sculptures in the art gallery inaugurated in Meta<\/strong> a few meters from the “Federico Iaccarino<\/strong>” Art Studio<\/strong>.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
